Tyre, a southern city, is home to three refugee camps. JCC’s four-thousand-square-meter farm sits nearby. It is here that JCC provides vocational education in agriculture.
Four green-houses were built, and a well was eventually added to the site. The nursery and poultry coop are connected to a large irrigation system. Organic gardening practices have been used to prepare the soil.
The farm offers the camps’ residents an introductory farming course with basic agriculture training.
